The Benefits of Solah
In
the Name of Allah the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful
ARTICLE
ANALYSIS
Article
Tittle: Solah Menggugurkan Dosa-Dosa
Prayer (Solah) is defined as the form of
worship and glorification of Allah by specific words and actions commencing
with (الله اكبر ) and
ending with (السلام عليكم) with the presence
of intention (نية). Solah is the
second pillar of Islam. Solah is obligatory as mentioned in Surah Ibrahim, verse
31,”Speak to my servants who have believed, that may establish regular
Prayers……..”. Pertaining to the obligatory of Solah , there had been
stated in the Holy Al-Quran for more than seventy times repeating the word Prayers
(الصلاة) .On the other hand Solah must be performed regularly five
times a day in its time; Subh , Zuhr, Asr ,Maghrib
and Isya’. Solah brings many immeasurable benefits for us. One of the
benefits of Solah is that it teaches us simple rules of cleanliness and
spiritual purification. In a more specific term, Solah plays an important role in
helping us to purify our sins as elucidated in the article that I had analyzed.
By referring to the article that I had read
entitled “Solah Menggugurkan Dosa-Dosa”, it is clearly stated that Solah which is
sincerely performed because of Allah to attain His pleasure will be one of the
cleaning agents of all of our sins without
leaving any part of the sin left. The Messenger had said, ”When a
Muslim is performing Solah for the love of Allah, his sins fall like ironically
this leaves from the tree,”(narrated by Imam Ahmad). This Hadith was narrated
due to the incident when one day the Messenger went out during the autumn with
Hazrat Abu Zar R.A, he then hold a branch of a tree that caused the leaves from
the tree to fall down. Of course we as a human beings that is created weak do have
an uncountable sins that we have done in
our lifetime similar to the enormous number of leaves that fall during the
autumn. Pertaining to that Hadith, it claimed that we could easily purify our
sins by performing Solah sincerely. This statement can be well supported by the
Hadith narrated by Muslim, “From Abi Hurairah R.A, verily the Prophet (PBUH) said: The five
daily prayers and also Friday prayer until the next Friday is considered as the
expiation for the interval prayers in
avoiding great sins.”
Besides that, Solah can prevent us from
the wrong doings. In addition to that, Solah will be the stonewall for us whenever we are about to do or whenever we
are close to the evil deeds. As mentioned in Al-Ankabut, verse 45,”…..,and
establish regular Prayer: for Prayer restrains from shameful and unjust
deeds; and remembrance of Allah is the greatest (thing in life) without doubt. And
Allah knows the (deeds) that you do.” Remembrance in the verse is referred
to the Solah. This is due to the Solah that is needed to be performed in its
time. When man gets up in the morning, the prayer reminds him of this event
before he starts his day. When he is busy in his work during the day, it again
reminds him of this fact three times. When he is about to go to sleep, he is
reminded once again. As the remembrance is always been reminded to human, it is
quite difficult for them to do bad deeds in their daily life. Allah had
promised us in the verse regarding the prevention from doing the bad deeds to
whomever that obey His command in performing Solah. The promise will surely be
fulfilled as there is nothing that can prevent Allah to do anything whenever He
wishes to.
In conclusion, Solah itself brings useful
impacts on oneself that are the purification of one’s sins and also in the same
time it can avoid us from doing something that is bad which will bring the wrath of Allah. So, perform
your Solah sincerely in order to expiate and to abstain yourself from the wrong
doings. Last but not least, perform your daily Solah as it is the pole of our religion (Islam) and whomever perform it,
he had built and strengthen his religion but whomever left and abandoned it, he
had destroyed and ruined his own religion.

Sekadar peringatan bersama!!!!
Assalamualaikum w.b.t.
Ana nak kongsi sikit kat sini berkenaan Al-Quran. Obviously,we could see here how generous Allah is right???How come we were being too lazy to read Al-Quran???There are many rewards that we can simply get by reading the Kalamullah itself.Try to change ourself to be a good SERVANT to Allah,The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful as the purpose of our creation is to worship Him.As been mentioned in Al-Dhariyat:56,"I have only created Jinns and men that they may serve me"Dan kita perlu ingat, sesungguhnya Allah tidak akan mengubah nasib sesebuah kaum itu melainkan kita sendiri yang mengubahnya.Cukuplah sekadar ini.Wallahua'lam.What is good is from Allah and what is bad is from me and Satan.....
